O good God, and yes, I know I shouldn’t,
Be wishing my life away!
But can you press that fast forward button,
And make it March today?

Buttons, on life’s coats are we.
Cushioned..?
We are, totally.

Gloopy, gloomy,
Not much roomy.
All enclosing
Walls, half dozing.

The grasp of its, cold hands,
Receding.
Winter is just, a bad guest
Leaving.

Well, they say
A change, is as good as a rest.
To feel a bit strange,
A break is best.

We know,
The cost,
Of snow,
And frost.
And what,
We know,
What’s lost,
Ain’t so.
