The Irish plebs have spoken,
We have made our choice.
And now that we’ve chosen,
Will others hear our voice?
Is it contempt or ineptitude,
To have no contingency plans?
If this is the future attitude,
We’ll keep our sovereignty, thanks.
Do they listen to the people,
Or go ahead with the treaty?
Does an EU democracy,
Mean the people have got to agree?
